Sandata Selected by Volunteer State Health Plan to Manage TennCare Choices

PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y. and CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., Aug. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Sandata Technologies, Inc., a leading nationwide provider of information technology solutions to the home healthcare and social services communities, and Volunteer State Health Plan ("VSHP"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of BlueCross Blue Shield of Tennessee, announced an agreement by which VSHP will use Sandata's IntegriCare 2.0 to manage electronic visit verification of home and community based services for the TennCare Choices program. IntegriCare 2.0 includes: i) IntegriCare, a jurisdictional tool enabling managed care organizations and government programs to monitor and track home bound patients and contracted home care providers in real time; ii) Santrax, Sandata's patented time and attendance product and the nation's number one telephone and web-based field management solution; and iii) nHome, a comprehensive operational home care management solution with scheduling, clinical assessment and documentation, compliance, billing and payroll functionality. With the full suite of products at their disposal, VSHP and its contracted home care agencies will benefit from improved oversight, quality monitoring, and streamlining of administrative and claims costs.
