San Francisco Bay Area Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Funds Over $1.6 Million This Year to Community Outreach Programs
Date:7/24/2009

cancer awareness projects in the nine Bay Area counties of Sonoma, Napa, West Solano, Marin, San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, San Mateo, and Santa Clara since our inception in 1987 - 2009. We accomplish this through the Race for the Cure(R), the Komen Shopping Card campaign, donations from individuals, corporate contributions, benefits by community partners, and other fund-raising efforts.

The 2009 Komen San Francisco Race for the Cure(R) will be held September 27, 2009 on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. Join us by visiting us online at www.komensf.org or calling 415-397-8812.

For more information about breast health or breast cancer, visit the Komen Organization's web site, www.komen.org, or call its National Toll-Free Breast Care Helpline, 1.800 I'M AWARE((R)) (1.800.462.9273).
