San Diego's SeQual Technologies Loans 35 Portable Oxygen Units to Evacuees at Qualcomm Stadium

Expert to Demonstrate Use, Offer Free Training on Site

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- SeQual Technologies Inc., a San Diego-based medical equipment manufacturer which develops oxygen systems known worldwide for their reliability, quality, revolutionary design and economy, has loaned 35 of its portable Eclipse(R) Oxygen System units for use by wildfire evacuees at Qualcomm Stadium.

The Eclipse is a portable oxygen concentrator. The 17-pound unit, on wheels and about the size of a child's backpack, pulls oxygen from the air and delivers it in nearly-pure form to those with breathing or lung difficulties. It is ideal for disaster response, as it needs only AC electrical power from a wall socket, DC electrical power from a vehicle, or its own internal battery to make medical oxygen. SeQual's Eclipse units are available now for oxygen-dependent patients at the medical center at Gate A in Qualcomm Stadium.

Mark Scott, Manager from SeQual, will be on site at the stadium TODAY, Wednesday, October 24, 2007 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to demonstrate how to use the Eclipse and answer questions from the media or those interested in the technology, which was developed in San Diego.
