from utilizing the latest project management tools.

The spring semester project management certificate in-class programs begin January 5. Online project management programs are ongoing.

The course content is aligned with the project management knowledge areas outlined in the PMBOK Guide, Third Edition published by the Project Management Institute (PMI). It fulfills PMI's educational requirement for all people applying for PMP certification.

"The Professional Certificate in Project Management at SDSU's College of Extended Studies helped prepare me to take the PMP exam. The one-night-a-week class format fit my busy schedule, and the instructors were first rate. I would recommend this program to anyone interested in becoming a project manager, and also to existing project managers to enhance their skills," said Marc Daniels, project manager, i-Net Profits, LLC.

SDSU's College of Extended Studies is a state-approved provider for the Federal Workforce Investment Act for this program. For more information on the possibility of receiving free education through the Federal Workforce Investment Act, visit Free Career Development at SDSU's College of Extended Studies.
