San Diego Plastic Surgery Practice Making a Splash in United Kingdom and Australia
Date:4/22/2010

San Diego based plastic surgery practice, Changes Plastic Surgery & Spa, is getting a taste of fame abroad. After being the focus of the reality series Addicted to Beauty in the US, television stations Really TV in the United Kingdom and Lifestyle You in Australia have started airing the reality “dramedy”, introducing Southern California plastic surgery to a whole new audience.

(PRWEB) April 22, 2010 -- San Diego based plastic surgery practice, Changes Plastic Surgery & Spa, was the focus of the reality series Addicted to Beauty, which aired last summer on the Oxygen and Bravo Networks. The show now has been picked up internationally in the UK and Australia.

“This is completely unexpected but very exciting,” says Dr. Gilbert Lee, founder and owner of Changes Plastic Surgery & Spa. “Last year was an incredible ride with the show airing nationwide in the US. Now audiences around the world are going to be learning about our industry and business.”

Addicted to Beauty follows the inside story of Dianne York-Goldman, socialite and medi-spa expert, joining forces with well known and three-time “San Diego Top Doctor” plastic surgeon Dr. Gilbert Lee at his Changes Plastic Surgery & Medical Spa.

When Dianne brings her over-the-top employees from her previous spa to Changes Plastic Surgery & Spa the work place antics get out of control. As the pressure increases to get the spa up and running, personalities clash and chaos ensues. However, this group is no match for Melanie (aka, “Mel”), Dr. Lee’s no nonsense office manager who becomes fed up with Dianne’s staff.

LifeStyle YOU is a brand new channel from the makers of two of Australia’s most successful subscription television channels, The LifeStyle Channel and LifeStyle FOOD. Celebrating the inspirational, the motivational and downright sensational, 95% of LifeStyle YOU's on air content is exclusive and never before seen in Australia.

Really is a new UK reality TV channel for women. Really hand-picks the best reality-based programs that offer an honest insight into other people's lives - shows that are feisty and straight-talking but still good natured.

From the Creator and Producer of Housewives of Orange County, Addicted to Beauty is executive produced by Mike Duffy, Greg Goldman, and Chris Coelen of RDF USA, as well as Mechelle Collins and Kevin Dill of Intuitive Entertainment (Bravo's "The Millionaire Matchmaker"), and Scott Dunlop of Dunlop Entertainment (creator and producer of Housewives of Orange County), with concept by Scott Dunlop and Mike Duffy.
