The Global Spa & Wellness Summit (GSWS), the industry research and advocacy organization, today announced that Sallie Fraenkel has been appointed executive vice president. In the newly created position, Fraenkel will lead business development, marketing, public relations, and event management for the GSWS and will be responsible for helping to chart the future direction of the organization.

“We are extremely excited that Sallie has joined the GSWS executive team,” said chairman & CEO Susie Ellis. “ As the Summit continues its growth worldwide, her exceptional background and expertise will be instrumental in expanding the Summit’s mission and forging new partner relationships.”

“I am thrilled to join the GSWS and look forward to working closely with Susie Ellis and the board to chart the future direction of the organization. There is so much potential for our industry to expand, educate, and innovate, and I am privileged to be part of such a dynamic group,” said Fraenkel.
