Safety Training Seminars Opens Their 6th Bay Area American Heart Association CPR, BLS and First-aid Certification Training School in Redwood City
Date:2/25/2013

Redwood City, CA (PRWEB) February 25, 2013

Safety Training Seminars is proud to announce the grand opening of their newest American Heart Association CPR certification school in San Mateo County. The new classroom is located on 777 Woodside Avenue in Redwood City, which brings the number of training classrooms to six: San Francisco, Concord, Berkeley, Novato, San Jose, and now Redwood City.

The large comfortable classroom is easy to find from the surrounding areas of Palo Alto, San Mateo, and Menlo Park and there is a large parking lot, which offers free parking. The office has great light and just finished a major remodel with new painting, carpets, bathroom remodel, and new furniture. Students can enjoy the free coffee, soda, and snacks while learning life-saving skills.

Charles Seidel, the owner of Safety Training Seminars explains: “The peninsula has long been a forgotten area for CPR certification schools. Previously those looking to take a BLS course or a first-aid course had to drive up to San Francisco or down to San Jose. This is a problem especially with all the traffic in the mid peninsula. But now with a location in Redwood City, students from Palo Alto, San Carlos, and San Mateo can easily get to this CPR & first-aid training classroom within minutes.”

The American Heart Association classes offered include BLS for the Healthcare Providers and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support). These classes were designed by the AHA for nurses, physical therapists, phlebotomists, physician assistants, dentists, and others who work in the medical or healthcare field. After these trainings, students receive the official American Heart Association certification card, which is valid for two years.

Redwood City CPR Classes is also an approved provider of EMSA (Emergency Medical Services Authority) Pediatric CPR and First-aid classes, which is a requirement for those in the child care profession. Their license number is 0204-DC and these classes are offered about once a week and satisfy the requirements for Title 22 of the Child Care Code.
