Date:9/17/2013

Detroit, MI (PRWEB) September 17, 2013

SafeToSleep®, maker of the first baby monitor that can monitor the breathing of a sleeping baby, is seeking international distribution partners to represent SafeToSleep products in markets outside North America. The expansion comes on the heels of an intense international demand from families around the world requesting access to SafeToSleep products to protect the safety of their sleeping babies. SafeToSleep asks that interested juvenile products distributors serving markets outside the U.S. and Canada request information by completing the contact form located on the company’s website at http://www.safetosleep.com under the “Contact Us” link.

“Families around the world call us every day asking how they can purchase a SafeToSleep monitor,” says Dr. Ryan Santangelo, SafeToSleep Co-Founder. “As we sit today, any family in the United States or Canada can get a SafeToSleep in two days. Our focus now is to bring on international distribution partners that can make access to this important baby safety technology a reality for families across the globe.”

The Sleep and Breathing Monitor by SafeToSleep is the first in a new category of baby monitor designed to protect infants from unexpected infant death. The SafeToSleep system uses advanced technology to continuously monitor the breathing of a sleeping baby and alert a caregiver’s smartphone if the baby enters a dangerous breathing pattern. In addition to breath rate detection and alerts, the SafeToSleep smartphone app tracks all sleep activity and generates reports on sleep time and sleep quality, allowing parents and doctors to care for infants in ways that have never before been possible.

The Sleep and Breathing Monitor comes packaged with a wireless and portable SleepMat, a cotton cover, and a handheld Parent Unit for non-smartph
