National Health Service hospitals' usage by stroke rehab patients dictates increase in staff and Saebo-trained therapists

CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Saebo, Inc. announced in its first quarter that its subsidiary, Saebo UK, Ltd., had another record year in 2008 and has added staff to accommodate its continued impressive growth in 2009.

"2008 was another record year for Saebo UK," said UK Managing Director, Glyn Blakey. "In the second half of 2008 alone, we trained an additional 80 physiotherapists and occupational therapists, bringing the total to over 250 Saebo-trained therapists throughout the United Kingdom. Additional trainers, administrative staff and technical support personnel were hired to keep up with our growth to ensure we continue to provide excellent service and support to patients."

"We were also successful in selling the Saebo In-Patient Treatment

Programme in 2008 to a number of leading National Health Service (NHS) hospitals. These hospitals have embraced Saebo's products and we continue to have good success selling the In-Patient Treatment Kit to NHS facilities so far in 2009," Blakey concluded.

Henry Hoffman, President of Saebo, Inc. added, "Saebo UK was a big contributor to our overall success in 2008. The UK team has done a great job of building the business and the Saebo brand throughout the UK. The traction we are now gaining with the NHS, combined with the increase in the number of Saebo-trained therapists bodes well for another great year for Saebo UK."
