SXC Health Solutions announces contract with largest worker's compensation organization in the U.S.

     - Company to provide industry-leading PBM technology solutions and
           services for the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation -

LISLE, IL, July 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - SXC Health Solutions Corp. ("SXC" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: SXCI, TSX: SXC), a leading provider of technology and pharmacy benefit management (PBM) services, announces that its HealthCare Information Technology ("HCIT") Group has been awarded a contract to provide PBM solutions to the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation. The contract period is for a three-year term with services commencing on November 1, 2009.

Under terms of the agreement, SXC will provide pharmacy claims adjudication, drug utilization review, pharmacy network management, clinical services to contain costs, Maximum Allowable Cost list management, and management reporting in support of more than an estimated 1.6 million workers' compensation cases annually. SXC will deliver services for injured workers within Ohio and nationally as necessary.
