SSI Announces Its Fourth Generation Revenue Cycle Management Technology, ClickON ClaimSmart Suite

MOBILE, Ala., Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- The SSI Group, Inc. (SSI), a market leader in improving the financial efficiency of the healthcare industry, today announced its fourth generation revenue cycle management (RCM) solution, ClickON® ClaimSmart™ Suite.  Utilizing Cloud Computing and offered via SaaS (Software as a Service), ClaimSmart Suite leverages SSI's array of best-in-class EDI offerings, unifying them into a fully integrated solution that increases productivity, reduces errors, streamlines workflows, and enhances cash flow.

The centerpiece of ClickON ClaimSmart Suite is the ClaimSmart Dashboard, which provides access to the Suite's functionality and allows users to visualize all aspects of the revenue cycle.  The dashboard gives real time displays of patient eligibility, claim submittals, claim status, remittances (including denials, adjustments, and take-backs), and payer confirmation reports. Additional drill-down capabilities provide customization to the standard workflow within these revenue cycle phases. Users at all levels of the organization -- from the CFO through the business office and down to the individual biller -- benefit from performance insight and intelligent workflow associated with the application. The ClaimSmart Suite provides the right information to the right person at the right time.

"We're excited about the greatly enhanced sense of control and visibility into the revenue cycle our new ClaimSmart Suite brings to our clients, as well as the truly seamless unification of the overall revenue cycle process and the cutting edge platform upon which our fourth generation solution is constructed," said Doug Bilbrey, SSI Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "ClickON ClaimSmart Suite revolutionizes the way claims are managed by using a single web-based solution with best practices built in," he said.

The ClaimSmart Suite includes all available lines of business for the state in which the provider conducts business, as well as all commercial payers available through SSI's Electronic Health Network -- currently numbering nearly 900 direct and 1,200 additional secondary connections. ClaimSmart Suite also offers healthcare providers a future-proof solution built to handle upcoming regulatory changes in areas such as HIPAA and 5010 / ICD-10. Since the application is web-based, updates are transparent and reduce or eliminate required IT support resources. "The ClaimSmart Suite is truly the best of both worlds," says Bilbrey, "offering best-in-class solutions with ease of implementation and a low cost of ownership."
