SNL Insurance and Financial Launches Cancer Awareness Charity Event in Support of the American Cancer Society Relay For Life
Date:3/22/2017

SNL Insurance and Financial, a Virginia based firm offering asset protection assistance and financial consultations to families and business owners in the greater Hampton Roads area, is embarking on a community charity initiative to raise support for the local American Cancer Society Relay For Life event.

Each year, hundreds of people living in the South Hampton region are diagnosed with cancer. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life event provides an opportunity for cancer survivors and their loved ones to raise awareness of cancer and generate donations used to fund research on cancer treatments and cures, as well as preventative programs that help reduce the risk of cancer.

“Cancer patients don’t stop because they’re tired, and neither should we. If we work together, we can make a difference in our local community by supporting the efforts of the ACS and Relay For Life,” says Scott Janney, owner and principal agent of the SNL Insurance and Financial group.

Janney and his professional team are working to galvanize local support for the South Hampton American Cancer Society Relay For Life event by forging connections with local civic leaders and the families of cancer survivors over social media and email. Additionally, a full length article discussing the Relay is slated for publication in the SNL Insurance online community interest magazine “Our Hometown”: http://snlinsurance.com/magazines/.

Last month, SNL Insurance and Financial became one of the newest partners in the “Agents of Change” nationwide charity support group. To reflect their ongoing commitment to this group, Janney and his team will be working to assist a new charitable organization in the South Hampton region every other month.

Readers that want to know more about the American Cancer Society Relay For Life event are encouraged by the SNL Insurance and Financial team to visit the following link and take action in support of the cause: http://snlinsurance.com/causes/walk-together-bigger-cancer/.
