Philabundance was presented with a $1,243 check from event proceeds and over 1,000 canned goods collected from guests at the event. Philabundance works to end hunger and malnutrition in the Delaware Valley by rescuing surplus food and distributing it to local organizations serving people in need.
Now in its tenth year, and with the support of many dedicated individuals and organizations, this program continues to grow in its recognition of HR Excellence. The Delaware Valley HR Department of the Year was founded in 1998 by Scott Rosen, President of The Rosen Group. His belief was that HR professionals should receive recognition for their hard work and positive effect on their organizations. He envisioned this program would raise the bar for HR professionals, and it continues to do just that as a successful attribute to the HR industry.
The Rosen Group specializes exclusively in the placement of human resources professionals, both on a contract and a permanent basis. The Rosen Group was established with a single focus -- to help clients attract and retain the kind of talent it takes to succeed in today's dynamic business environment, where a strong human resources function is key. Since its inception in 1995, The Rosen Group has served hundreds of clients in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia, including some of the nation's most prestigious corporations.
