SIEMENS, AlliedBarton, Methodist Hospital, and Family Planning Council Win Human Resources Department of the Year Awards

Philabundance received over $1,200 and 1,000 cans of food from the event

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Last night, over 300 guests joined emcee Lori Wilson, co-host of the 10! on NBC10, at the Ballroom at the Ben for the 2007 Human Resources Department of the Year Awards and HR Awards for Excellence presentation. The Rosen Group, a human resources placement firm in Voorhees, NJ, was the premier sponsor of the event that recognizes human resources departments in the Delaware Valley who have demonstrated overall service excellence and the successful impact they have on their organizations.

Philabundance was presented with a $1,243 check from event proceeds and over 1,000 canned goods collected from guests at the event. Philabundance works to end hunger and malnutrition in the Delaware Valley by rescuing surplus food and distributing it to local organizations serving people in need.

Now in its tenth year, and with the support of many dedicated individuals and organizations, this program continues to grow in its recognition of HR Excellence. The Delaware Valley HR Department of the Year was founded in 1998 by Scott Rosen, President of The Rosen Group. His belief was that HR professionals should receive recognition for their hard work and positive effect on their organizations. He envisioned this program would raise the bar for HR professionals, and it continues to do just that as a successful attribute to the HR industry.
