SI International Awarded $4 Million Army HRsolutions Task Order

Delivering mission-critical outsourcing to Brooke Army Medical Center

RESTON, Va., Oct. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SI International, Inc. (Nasdaq: SINT), an information technology and network solutions (IT) company, announced today that it has won a new competitive task order under the US Army's HRsolutions Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Contract for Human Resources, Personnel Service and Support to provide services to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. SI International will provide Transition Administrative Staff supporting Warriors in Transition. The task order value is approximately $4.3 million, inclusive of the options and has a one-year base period with two one-year option periods. The HRsolutions ID/IQ contract was competitively awarded to multiple vendors in September 2004 and each task order is competed among prime contract holders. The value of the contract win was included in the October 11, 2007 news release announcing awards in excess of $450 million for the month of September.

Since June 2007, Brooke Army Medical Center has implemented a series of changes designed to improve the quality of care for Soldiers who are wounded, injured, or seriously ill and are undergoing treatment at Brooke Army Medical Center. SI International's transition assistance staff will work closely with Nurse Case Managers, medical personnel, and the military chain of command to ensure the best possible care for Soldiers and the Families during the transition process.
