SF Custom Chiropractic Honors the Season of Giving for the Month of December
Date:12/1/2013

San Francisco, California (PRWEB) December 01, 2013

SF Custom Chiropractic is celebrating the spirit of giving this holiday season by offering a treatment credit to new and existing patients who donate to the charity of their choice with a monetary donation in the amount that they would normally pay for an office visit. One time donations made during the month of December will be honored with a chiropractic treatment and wellness evaluation. During the month of December at the Mission/Bernal Heights location, SF Custom Chiropractic will also be partnering with the Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center to sponsor a toy drive. Bring an unwrapped toy to the Mission/Bernal Heights location in order to support local children this holiday season.

Dr. Adam Jacobs, head treating doctor at the Financial District location, is passionate about the health and wellness of his patients. As 2013 slowly begins to come to a close, Dr. Jacobs reflects on the need for focus on personal wellness and care. Dr. Jacobs encourages his patients to share their unique passions to benefit the causes and charities of their choosing in the hopes of promoting happiness, health and wellness. Whether those passions lie in helping to find a cure for childhood cancers, such as the Juliana’s Journey Foundation, or helping to feed our neighbors through the efforts of the San Francisco Food Bank, it is important to stay connected within the community because connection strengthens the collective.

Dr. Jacobs, Dr. Gustin, and the staff at SF Custom Chiropractic care about giving back to the community on a greater scale that extends beyond daily patient care. Supporting patients’ passions is just one of the ways that the team at SF Custom Chiropractic seeks to spread wellness throughout the community. Dr. Jacobs regularly provides scoliosis screenings and backpack awareness talks to middle school students around San Francisco in order to support and educate students about their spinal health early on. Dr. Gustin is also involved in providing care and education to the athletes at Lick-Wilmerding High School, a local school in San Francisco, in order to help the student-athletes increase their awareness of wellness strategies and treat sports related injuries; this ensures that they will be able to continue their involvement in sports safely. SF Custom Chiropractic is also involved in community outreach by providing support at health fairs, 5k walks and runs, and other health and wellness events around the Bay Area.

Patients who make a donation to charity must bring documented proof, such as a receipt, for SF Custom Chiropractic to put on file in order to redeem their chiropractic treatment credit. One treatment credit will be honored per person. Chiropractic treatment credit must be redeemed the day that the donation receipt is brought into the office. The donation must be dated for December 2013. Chiropractic treatment credit may not be transferred between patients.

Based in the Financial District of San Francisco, SF Custom Chiropractic opened in January 2011. In July 2013, SF Custom Chiropractic opened its second location between the Bernal Heights and Mission District. Head treating doctor, Dr. Adam Jacobs received his doctorate from Palmer West College of Chiropractic (known for being the leader of sports chiropractic). Dr. Anthony Gustin received both his doctorate and masters from University of Western States in Portland Oregon. Both Dr. Jacobs and Dr. Gustin are Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioners. In addition to their doctorate degrees, Dr. Jacobs has his fully body A.R.T.® Masters degree and long nerve entrapment certification and Dr. Gustin has received a Masters of Science in Exercise and Sports Science. SF Custom Chiropractic takes a holistic full body approach to fix underlying structural problems associated with back pain and many other musculoskeletal disorders.
