SCiSOURCE LLC Makes Key Addition to its Management Team
Date:8/31/2008

SCiSOURCE has further enabled its Contract Sales Management and Outsourced Sales Services capabilities with a strategic addition to its Management Team.

Boston, MA (PRWEB) August 31, 2008 -- SCiSOURCE, an international provider of contract Sales Services to the Life Science industry, announces the addition of Joseph P. Connell to its Management Team. This announcement brings visibility to an arena long considered the final bastion for outsourcing.

Joseph P. Connell is the President & CEO, Connell Associates and serves as a director of Cassia Acquisition Corporation. Mr. Connell has more than 25 years experience of increasing responsibility in domestic and international sales, sales team development, contract negotiations, strategic alliances, marketing, business development for several Biotech's including Gene Express, Inc., Clinical Research companies including PharmaTech Solutions, Inc., and with several major pharmaceutical companies including Merz Pharmaceuticals, LLC, SEQUUS Pharmaceuticals, Boehringer Mannheim Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Roche Laboratories, UPM Pharmaceuticals, and most currently at AAI Pharma, an international research organization, where he was the Vice President for Global Sales and Marketing. Mr. Connell has proven success in oncology, cardiovascular, pediatric, gastroenterology, dermatology and infectious diseases' pharmaceuticals. He is experienced in contracting and international sales and business development for drug delivery devices.

SCiSOURCE (www.SCiSOURCE.com) enables small-to-mid-sized Life Sciences Companies to bring their Product or Service to Market internationally for a fraction of the investment required to build and manage a direct sales force.

Dean P. Remy, President & Chief Executive Officer of SCiSOURCE indicates that the company is fast-tracked to find and bring on the "Best-of-the-Best" in Sales Leadership in the industry and bring them all under one roof. Mr. Remy states, "Our sales model is quite simple. Remove the barrier to entry faced by small manufacturers and service providers in bringing their product and or service to market; give them international sales presence completely tooled and trained; and do this in a rapid but modular fashion that enables them to realize a great ROI faster. This is the SCiSOURCE model." When asked about the cost of gaining access to senior sales personnel: "The answer is close to 20%. Our use of small, non-competitive portfolios of leveragable technologies and services gives our clients the attention, savings, focus, and ultimately sales never recognized by manufacturer reps or the typical distributors; all this achieved exclusively by senior, experienced Life Science sales personnel" he replies. He adds "Mr. Connell brings a level of experience and industry knowledge that our clients expect from an organization like ours. I am certain he will have an immediate and beneficial impact on our entire organization."
