The new Roseland Medical Center located at 100-134 West 111th Street, in Chicago's Roseland neighborhood, supports the mission of the Roseland Community Hospital -- the sole hospital in this federally-designated medically underserved area since 1924. The new 27,000 square foot medical facility will provide additional comprehensive primary care and dialysis services to this underserved community. Lead tenants include Roseland Community Hospital (outpatient services), Fresenius Medical Care of Illinois (dialysis clinic), and Chicago Family Health Center (federal health clinic).

Alderman Carrie M. Austin (34th Ward) received special recognition for her support of this City of Chicago Redevelopment Project. Other dignitaries and supporters also received special recognition, including Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, Illinois Senate President Emil Jones, Alderman Anthony Beale (9th Ward), State Representative Robert Rita (28th District), Ian McFadden, Chief Executive Officer of Roseland Community Hospital and other leaders from the medical community.

Roseland Community Hospital, a cornerstone of the far south side, is the closest hospital within a five-mile radius, in a community that is home to more than 350,000 Chicago residents. For more information please visit http://www.dl3realty.com.
