Other dignitaries and supporters also received special recognition, including Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, Illinois Senate President Emil Jones, Alderman Anthony Beale (9th Ward), State Representative Robert Rita (28th District), Ian McFadden, Chief Executive Officer of Roseland Community Hospital and other leaders from the medical community.
