(Rising), a leading medical-financial solutions organization, and Jason Beans, Rising CEO, are featured in Norman Scarborough's recently published entrepreneurship textbook, Effective Small Business Management, 9th edition. Therefore, I asked a lot of questions about the most difficult business and personal challenges that the entrepreneurs have faced and how they dealt with those challenges" says Korman Frey. "I selected Rising and Jason Beans because I felt the company's business focus was particularly interesting given the current concern and urgency around healthcare costs. I also felt that Jason's accounts of his experiences and approach to overcoming various obstacles was intriguing and, in pilot presentation of his case study to my own class, the students responded very positively."
