CHICAGO, Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Rising Medical Solutions, Inc. URAC's standards for this specific Accreditation require companies to address the unique aspects of the workers' compensation environment and ensure quality oversight for this fast growing area of managed care.

"In addition to examining our Utilization Review program, the URAC Accreditation process involved an audit of Rising's policies and procedures across the entire Company," comments CEO, Jason Beans. "Given the regulatory environment in which our clients must operate, it is important they feel secure that Rising's organizational standards will produce a level of service they have come to expect."

Says Anne Kirby, Director of Rising's Utilization Review Unit, "This achievement is great validation for the outstanding service our physicians, nurses, and coordinators provide to clients, providers, and patients. The quality management process is something we have incorporated into all of our care management products."

Rising's Utilization Review program serves payer clients nationwide and the URAC distinction complements the Company's requisite workers' compensation Utilization Review certifications in various states that require such credentials, including California, Texas and Illinois. The URAC Accreditation will also enable the Company to certify its Utilization Review program in additional states.
