Ribbit Marketing Hosts Contest for NC Film Students

KERNERSVILLE, N.C., March 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Ribbit Marketing, Inc. is hosting a television public service announcement (PSA) contest for North Carolina college film students to increase awareness of state health resources. Entries are being requested for PSAs showcasing www.NCHealthInfo.org. NC Health Info is an online guide to reliable health and medical information linking users to local health services throughout North Carolina.

The PSA contest will give students the opportunity to hone their skills using video media as a means to capture the public's attention about the health information web site. All entries must be completed by students between March 15 and May 1 of 2009. The winner of the contest will receive a prize of $500 and the 2nd place entry will win an iPod Nano.

The winning entry will be distributed to news and media outlets statewide as well as be available for viewing on the Ribbit Marketing and NC Health Info websites. In addition to the PSA contest, print and radio materials are also being developed by Ribbit Marketing to increase awareness and utilization of NC Health Info.
