Rhode Island Companies Partner to Keep Citizens Safe and Independent Providing Personal Emergency Response Services

Tunstall Healthcare Group, the world leader in remote care and safety monitoring, has signed an agreement with Health Touch Rhode Island to provide personal emergency response (PERS) for Rhode Island seniors and disabled populations. The service, branded “Health Touch”, will be delivered from Tunstall Americas’ operations center in Pawtucket.

Casey Pittock, President and CEO of Tunstall Americas stated, “I am delighted that Health Touch, a VNA of Care New England provider, has chosen to partner with Tunstall. Tunstall offers a wide variety of medical alert solutions to meet the needs of all people, including traditional telephone based, cellular, and mobile devices. These products all have the option of automatic fall detection which is an important technology innovation that mitigates some of the challenges at-risk populations have both at home and when out and about.
