Revolutionary scale makes losing weight easier than ever

The Quantum Scale tracks the user's progress rather than their actual weight.

Kitchener Ontario, Canada (PRWEB) June 16, 2010 -- The Quantum Scale is a personal weight loss product that focuses on the progress of the user rather than their desire to reach a target or ideal weight. Upon initial use, the scale registers (but does not display) the actual weight of the user, storing it in the scale's memory. From that point on, the scale only displays weight loss or gain.

The company remarks that the Quantum Scale "measures how far you've come rather then how far you have to go." They say in doing so, the user develops a better self image by focusing on their personal progress, as opposed to viewing an imposing three-digit number that only reminds them that they are not measuring up to a preset or ideal weight no matter what their body type.

The creators of the scale go on to say that losing weight is very personal in nature and that the Quantum Scale becomes more of a trusted companion for weight loss than a measurement of success or failure. Citing that 95% of those who lose weight regain it within three years, the Quantum Scale's founder, Susan Taylor, has embarked on promoting the scale as a more positive and encouraging way to reach and maintain a healthy weight and more active lifestyle.
