Orders for OPA Digest May be Placed Now

(PRWEB) -- A revised Oil Pollution Act Case Digest and Source Book will be available on June 2, 2010. Mr. William Bode, Esq., managing partner of the law firm of Bode & Grenier, LLP and Editor and Publisher of the digest announced today that the revised Digest may be ordered starting today. The Digest was originally published in 2004 and contains a summary, organized by issue, of every court case treating the Oil Pollution Act, a Summary and Analysis of OPA Consent Decrees, the copy of the OPA and proposed revisions pending before the U.S. Congress, and guidance for submitting claims under the OPA. Mr. Bode states that, “The catastrophic BP/Deepwater Horizon oil spill has focused attention on the provisions of the Oil Pollution Act, which preempts state laws governing liability and damages. The OPA Digest and Source Book provides guidelines for making claims before the Oil Spill Liability Trust Fund and, also, a compendium of the body of case law interpreting and applying the OPA.” The OPA Digest and Source Book is priced at $125. per copy and may be ordered at the www.bode.com website, or by calling Pat Martin at 202-862-4303.
