Retired Heart Surgeon Dr. Dwight Lundell Celebrates 65th Birthday as an Ironman Participant
Date:11/20/2008

Retired heart surgeon Dwight Lundell will celebrate his 65th birthday as a participant in NA Sports Ironman being held in Tempe, AZ on November 23, 2008.

Scottsdale, AZ (Vocus) November 20, 2008 -- Dr. Dwight Lundell will celebrate his 65th birthday as a participant in the Arizona Ironman ( www.ironmanarizona.com ) scheduled for November 23rd in Tempe, Arizona. He will do a 2.4-mile open water swim, then a 112-mile bike race, followed by a 26.2-mile marathon run. The promoter for the event is NA Sports and the media is invited by going to (http://www.nasports.com/media.php )

Dr. Lundell is best known for his discovery that heart disease and heart attacks are not caused by what the medical community has long thought. His proven discovery came after performing over 5,000 heart surgeries. In his book, "The Cure For Heart Disease" (www.thecureforheartdisease.net), Dr. Lundell spells it out in laymen's terms. The book is causing some waves in the medical community and with the drug companies who will attempt to discredit him. After all, heart disease is a big business to them. Dr. Lundell stated, "I am participating in this Ironman event to show that a person with proper lifestyle is only middle age at 65. A person who practices proper nutrition and supplementation, and gets exercise, even in moderation, can live a long and healthy life free of heart disease".

Dr. Lundell continues to fight against heart disease today as the founder of The Healthy Humans Foundation, (www.hhfoun
