Retired Fed. & GA State Employees Get New Hearing Healthcare Benefit, Jan. 2010

All Federal and Georgia State Retirees who are Medicare eligible now have hearing aid benefits. This new benefit is part of the Medicare Advantage Program with prescription drugs (MAPD) private fee for service (PFFS) Options offered by CIGNA, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare and Kaiser Permanente. Atlanta Hearing Associates has three offices conveniently located in Dunwoody, GA Lake Oconee / Greensboro, GA and Lake Sinclair / Milledgeville, GA that can serve State of Georgia retired employees.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) December 1, 2009 -- Atlanta Hearing Associates are preferred providers for State of Georgia Retirees and their new hearing aid benefit program, which is scheduled to launch January 1, 2010. This new State of Georgia Retiree Benefit for hearing aids is supplied under the Medicare Advantage with prescription drugs (MAPD) private fee for service (PFFS) Options offered by CIGNA, Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Healthcare. Depending on the plan, the benefit is available every three to four years and pays $1,000 to -2000 toward the hearing exam and the purchase of hearing aids. The owner and chief audiologist of Atlanta Hearing Associates, Dr. Joy Pritchett, has positioned the firm to help patients get the most from their State of Georgia Retiree Benefit for hearing loss.

Atlanta Hearing Associates has been serving Georgia citizens with hearing loss with audiology services for over 30 years. They now have three offices located in Dunwoody, GA Lake Oconee / Greensboro, GA and Lake Sinclair / Milledgeville, GA that can serve retired State of Georgia and Federal employees.
