Resurrection Health Care Increases Sales Productivity by 50% Since Implementing Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Date:4/7/2009

CHICAGO, April 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Sonoma Partners, a leading provider of Microsoft Dynamics CRM in the United States, announced today that since going live, Resurrection Health Care experienced a 50% increase in sales representative productivity. Resurrection Health Care, Chicago's largest Catholic health care provider, is a family of health care services including hospitals, nursing homes, retirement communities, home health services, behavioral health services and numerous outpatient centers.

Sonoma Partners extended the core marketing, sales and customer service modules in Microsoft Dynamics CRM to address the additional requirements posed by health care providers. By deploying a customized version, Resurrection Health Care's users can track physician and hospital information through the familiar Microsoft Office Outlook messaging and collaboration client that they already use, eliminating the need to open and use a separate customer relationship management (CRM) solution. This allows users to track physician information, specializations, and availability within one comprehensive contact database. Sales representatives can track all activities and opportunities within one customer record, including phone calls, emails and notes which are shared across separate departments.

After reviewing other CRM solutions, Resurrection Health Care chose Microsoft Dynamics CRM based on its ease of use and its integration to Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Sonoma Partners was chosen to implement the software because of their experience in the health care industry in addition to their technical expertise with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform.

"We needed a CRM solution that could incorporate other areas within the system in order to better manage relationships with our physicians and hospitals," said Ron Arnone, System Director of Sales at Resurrection Health Care. "We are now able to work smarter, strengthen our physician relations and grow our business. With customized activities and opportunities tracking, reporting and analysis of our business takes minutes rather than days, and our sales team is better able to focus their efforts, increasing overall productivity by 50 percent."

Since implementing Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Resurrection Health Care is also saving thousands of dollars in technical support calls in addition to the cost savings for lower license fees. In 2008, approximately 5-10 technical support calls were made every month to the help desk. Since going live with Microsoft Dynamics CRM in January 2009, no support calls have been made.
