Date:12/8/2009

NEW YORK, Dec. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Reportlinker.com announces that a new market research report is available in its catalogue:

Japanese Market for Dental Implants and Final Abutments 2009

http://www.reportlinker.com/p0166832/Japanese-Market-for-Dental-Implants-and-Final-Abutments-2009.html

The Japanese market for dental implants and final abutments has been deeply affected by the economic recession beginning in 2008, leading to a dramatic decline in total sales. Japanese government regulations make it very difficult for foreign companies to sell their implants directly, forcing them to rely on local distributors. As a result of market regulations, the Japanese dental implant market has substantially higher average selling prices than the overall Asia-Pacific market. Despite the setbacks, the emphasis on dental aesthetics in Japan has been increasing over the last 5 years and as a result, will continue to drive the market.
