Relsys International Launches the Pharmacovigilance Integrated Services Offering and Significantly Expands Project Delivery Capabilities

IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Relsys International, the leading provider of drug safety, pharmacovigilance and risk management solutions, announces the launch of its Integrated Services Offering for pharmacovigilance as well as significant growth of its Global Professional Services (GPS) organization.

In 2008, Relsys has delivered numerous Argus Safety(TM) upgrade projects, even as it continues to add new system implementations to its portfolio. Chris Jabbal, Chief Services Officer for Relsys, commented: "This year, our GPS organization has increased the number of projects delivered by more than 300% over 2007, with several more projects due to be completed before the end of the year." New safety database implementations in 2008 have included at least three Top 20 pharma companies, as well numerous smaller and mid-sized companies. Jabbal continued: "We have proactively scaled our professional services organization to address the growth in our project portfolio. Our team has doubled in the past year, as we have hired numerous project managers, analysts and subject matter experts. The Relsys GPS team has the capacity to continue to deliver even more new projects in the future."

Relsys has also launched its Integrated Services Offering, focusing on delivering pharma projects on-time, to-plan and to-budget. Jabbal commented: "We have always been focused on delivering end-to-end drug safety solutions to address our clients' pharmacovigilance needs. Our primary vision is to effectively execute the delivery of the Integrated Services Offering to address pharma's pressing safety and risk management needs." To ensure successful execution, Relsys has also implemented a Services Quality Management System (SQMS) -- a quality assurance system for professional services with an explicit goal to increase standards of excellence. "We are very excited about the new programs -- they are an integral part of our vision to become a world-class services organization," said Jabbal.
