Relevant Security and bitRail Debut RevSecure Product Line

Advanced Multi-Service Network Appliance Meets the Critical Security Needs of Organizations in Government and Military, Financial Services and Healthcare

Denver, CO (PRWEB) October 27, 2009 -- Relevant Security Corporation and bitRail LLC have partnered to develop Revolution Security and its line of RevSecure advanced multi-service network appliances designed to meet the critical security needs of organizations in data-intensive, security-imperative computing environments. Through a licensing agreement, Relevant Security's RPM technology - which offers continuous mutual authentication and security for data and electronic communications between all nodes on any network at the transaction level - is now fully integrated with bitRail's edge-of-network appliances, which manage the security, communications and networking of converged networks. Three RevSecure devices have been released in the initial line, the Citizen, Patriot and Hero.

"The Revolution Security line of solutions is not for organizations that are simply deploying and managing typical Internet-based networks and applications," says Greg C. Byles, President and CEO of Relevant Security. "We teamed with bitRail to design this solution for those organizations that have heightened network security needs; for example, government agencies whose networks manage high value-Classified and Top Secret- information, or healthcare companies that are working with huge volumes of patient data that is highly sensitive and protected by HIPAA regulations.

"For organizations with those specialized needs, there hasn't been an edge-of-network solution on the market that provides enhanced security, performance and ease-of-use. Now there is, and it is designed with their specific needs in mind."

According to Dr. Tim Williams, CEO of bitRail, "The stakes are very high for organizations with heightened security needs who communicate information over public networks. We're hearing more and more about financial services companies and government agencies that have been compromised; there's a lot on the line - personal privacy and billions of dollars. This integrated bitRail-Relevant Security solution ensures that every packet - every single bit of information that comes out of the box to another box - is as secure as it can possibly be as it crosses the public Internet."

Benefits of having Revolution Security's RevSecure devices, complete with Relevant Security's RPM technology integrated, include:

  • Security - Revolution Security continuously authenticates and encrypts every single transmission.
  • Speed - RPM technology is faster than standard authentication and security technologies
  • Size - The algorithms and code base of the RPM technology are so small and efficient they lay within the noise level of any network with virtually no overhead.
  • Scalability and Flexibility - RevSecure devices allow integration across platforms and applications without worries about compatibility.
  • Future-Assured - RPM's underdetermined system of equations is provably secure.
  • Ease of Use - The devices are easily expanded, operated, implemented and maintained. Revolution Security can adapt to any changes in network topology without a hardware forklift.
