Date:7/2/2010

Register now for the God is a Brown Girl Too® "Awakening to Love" Retreat, dedicated to the spiritual fitness of women, at the Mariandale Retreat Center -- right outside of NYC, which will be held from Friday, July 16 through Sunday, July 18, 2010. The registration fee, which includes the workshops, room and board, is only $350 until July 9, 2010.

New York, NY (PRWEB) July 2, 2010 -- Need to get away for a quick, inexpensive vacation to relax and recuperate from your day-to-day grind? Need to release the past, refresh the spirit, and move forward to accomplish your goals? Then register now for the God is a Brown Girl Too® Retreat -- to be held at the Mariandale Retreat Center in Westchester County, just 45 minutes outside New York City.

Workshops will begin Friday, July 16, 2010, at 7:00 P.M. and end Sunday, July 18, 2010, at 1:00 P.M. The cost for the entire retreat, including both the workshops, single-room accommodations and meals is $350 until July 9, after which time the price will be increased to $450.00.

Founded by the Reverend Cecilia Loving, God is a Brown Girl Too was created solely to provide a healing, regenerative ministry of self-love, self-esteem and self-empowerment. Unlike traditional church, participants are taught to incorporate Spirit into their lives in a practical way.

This year's retreat theme is "Awakening to Love," which will help participants gain more wisdom, peace, focus, and creativity, as well as provide an opportunity to exercise the body by movement through this sacred space, to restore the soul through meditation and prayer, and to center in the silence
