Registration Now Open for Little Red Door's Unite 2 Fight Race Against Prostate Cancer Saturday, July 10, 2010

Prostate cancer will affect 1 out of every 6 men in the United States (1 in 3 in the African American community), making it the most common cancer among American men. Join the fight against prostate cancer by registering for Little Red Door's Unite 2 Fight Race Against Prostate Cancer.

Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) April 13, 2010 -- Registration is now open for Little Red Door’s Unite 2 Fight Race Against Prostate Cancer at www.littlereddoor.org. This event will take place at 8:00am Saturday, July 10th 2010 at the Indiana War Memorial in downtown Indianapolis. This year's event expects to draw an estimated field of more than 3,000 participants, some of which will be a part of the over 65 teams helping to fight prostate cancer.

The goal is to raise awareness and educate people about prostate cancer. Prostate cancer will affect 1 out of every 6 men in the United States (1 in 3 in the African American community), making it the most common cancer among American men. Unite 2 Fight Race Against Prostate Cancer consists of a 5K run, a 5K walk, and a one-mile family walk in downtown Indianapolis.

Individuals are encouraged to organize a team and compete for a great cause. Unite 2 Fight entries will be accepted for $25 - which includes a short sleeve t-shirt - until July 2, 2010. Entry fees for individuals participating with a team (20 or more individuals) are $20, which includes a t-shirt.
