Regenerus Life Enhancement Programme from The Diagnostic Clinic Will Take the Fear Out of Ageing
Date:12/8/2009

The Diagnostic Clinic (TDC) in London’s New Cavendish Street, the UK’s premier centre for Integrated Medicine, launches Regenerus, the most comprehensive anti-ageing assessment and life enhancement programmes available in the UK.

(PRWEB) December 8, 2009 -- Recently the UK Health Secretary, Andy Burnham, published the results of a Department of Health Survey that reveals that 86 per cent of people say they are worried about getting older. The survey showed that more than half of the respondents (54%) worry about losing their mind and their memory and that the same number worry about illness or infirmity. Even more disturbing is that 8 per cent of people surveyed hoped they wouldn’t get to an age where they would have to worry about these things.

While the government is planning to create a National Care Service to make care for older people simpler, fairer and more affordable, these results indicate that there are many people who would prefer to retard the ageing process and improve the quality and length of their lives.

It is well documented that external ageing is a result of what happens inside your body: your metabolism, your heart and arterial health, genetic inheritance, cell deterioration and the nervous system, as well as your diet, lifestyle and environment. With this in mind, TDC has developed the Regenerus Life Enhancement Programmes, a series of intensive health assessments for men and women of all ages which address the real causes of ageing and analyse the hidden conditions that lie within, as well as providing you with an individualised plan to prolong healthy life.

The Regenerus programmes investigate the quality of your body, the uniqueness of your genetic make-up, determine possible deficiencies in your system and then prescribe to you a personal blueprint to help rejuvenate your whole body condition, stem the ageing process and help you avoid future health risks.

Three programmes are offered: Optimum Performance Programme, Anti-Ageing Risk Analysis and the Optimum Health Life Extension Programme, each covering a variety of specific tests and examinations. Programmes are designed to help you understand your body, retard the onset of internal and external ageing and ultimately help you maxise the quality and length of your life.

TDC’s Dr Rajendra Sharma is recognised as a leading expert in integrated medicine and is a Peer Review Board Member and speaker at The UK Anti-Ageing Conference as well as a member of The American Academy for Anti-Ageing.

The Optimum Health Programme analyses an individual’s ability to perform at their optimum physical and psychological best because our quality of work, rest and play is improved enormously when our bodies and minds are working to their maximum capacity.

The Programme establishes an individual’s nutrition and functional status including healthy bowel function, toxicity levels, hormone levels associated with mood and sleep patterns and evaluates your total current physical status including strength, fitness, posture and balance.

The results, including pioneering Organic Acid tests, will establish the best use of diet and supplements, natural treatments, provide advice on exercise, rest and relaxation techniques and will allow improvement in mood, concentration, memory and libido as well as highlight specific health and toxic issues that may be impeding the body’s optimum performance.

Duration 3 to 4 hours with 2 Optimum Performance Experts and a 1 Nurse. Requires a small sample of blood and urine only.

Optimum Health Programme consists of:

Comprehensive Medical History and Health Questionnaire
Doctor examination and report
Urine analysis – metabolic assessment and infection
Fitness and Structure Analysis
Heart Rate Variability – stress assessment
NutriEval – full nutritional and specific metabolic analysis
Male/Female All Hormone
Personalised Detailed Analysis and Life Enhancement Report by Integrated Physician

Cost: £1975

The Anti-Ageing Risk Analysis investigates personalised risk areas that may affect the ageing process, the individual’s quality of health and chances of life extension.

Six main areas of ageing that affect good health and wellbeing are examined: cardiovascular using Arteriographs and arterial risk profiling; neurological using Brain Mapping and QEEG measurements; hormonal balance including thyroid, insulin and sec hormones, essential for health and longevity; the immune system; the decreasing ability to detoxify the body; and bone and joint issues looking at bone density through Urinalysis.

The results review current body and health condition, investigate how the individual will age by establishing a personal Nutri-genetic Status which determines how an individual specifically reacts to nutrition and supplements; advice on diet, nutritional need, lifestyle and exercise programmes.
