Redema Ergonomic Footrest Provides Consumers with Edema Relief and Portability Benefits

The Redema Ottoman Footrest, created by University of Central Florida Instructor Karen Tinsley-Kim, provides consumers with edema relief and portability benefits for comfort at home or away. The patent-pending footrest was created by Tinsley-Kim in her last trimester of pregnancy, and is available now at Redema.us.

(PRWEB) July 15, 2008 -- Ergonomic comfort is gaining visibility; instead of a luxury, it is more of an expectation. In addition to use in the home, many companies now offer ergonomic support for their employees, but little is available for the lower body; at the very least, this is what Redema believes. For that reason, Redema created the Redema Ottoman Footrest, an ergonomic footrest that offers both edema relief and portability benefits.

The patent-pending footrest was created by Karen Tinsley-Kim, an ESL/EFL instructor at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. In her last trimester of pregnancy, she found herself seeking remedies for leg edema, and decided to create her own. The Redema Ottoman Footrest is inflatable, very lightweight and entirely portable, and it is currently available at Redema.us.

"The Redema Ottoman Footrest offers multiple levels of elevation while remaining entirely portable. It is small enough to fit under an airline seat or small desk, and fully inflated can provide elevation at or above chair-level," says Tinsley-Kim. "It can also be used in bed or on the sofa to elevate legs above heart-level. Being almost weightless when it is inflated while providing the support desired, the Redema Ottoman Footrest is the only product of its kind on the market today."
