Seasoned media and marketing communications pros pool complementary resources to help advertisers fight recession
Tampa, FL, (PRWEB) March 19, 2009 -- Don't write off your 2009 marketing or advertising efforts just yet, counsel the seasoned marketing professionals at Marshall Advertising and Zelen Communications. These trying economic times can be an unprecedented opportunity for those willing to take innovative action to keep their products and services on the front lines.
The two award-winning firms have done just that by pooling their own complementary resources of efficient media buying and dynamic creative talent to form a new strategic alliance dubbed mindmerge.
These allies offer clients and prospects the best of media planning and buying expertise, in addition to analyzing and tracking sales results, via Marshall Advertising and the most innovative creative approaches for marketing and branding via Zelen Communications. Both firms will continue to work with their individual clients to avoid conflicts of interest; mindmerge is for those clients and prospects that will most benefit from the cross-pollenization offered by the two entities.
This natural alliance of Kevin Marshall, president and owner of Marshall Advertising; Terry Zelen, president and owner of Zelen Communications; and Fulton Smith-Sykes, Zelen client director, and Cherie Shive-Umbarger, Marshall media director, both former senior marketing executives at Outback, offers clients and prospects an unparalleled level of advertising, marketing, and media insight. The foursome has joined hands to create an unbeatable force that can help advertisers build a strategic brand that will have relevance and resonance with customers and future customers.
"In these extraordinarily tough economic times," says Kevin Marshall, "every company out there needs to rethink its business model and take the bold steps that are absolutely necessary to break out of the pack. One of the best ways to do that is to work with a team like mindmerge, which specializes in revolutionary approaches to selling. This is all about survival and setting them up for success when the economy rebounds."
Mr. Marshall emphasizes that research clearly shows that those companies that maintain marketing visibility through a recession inevitably have stronger and more prolonged success when the recession ends. Marshall Advertising's long standing relationships with media companies along with its innovative and creative approaches to provide breakthrough solutions for advertisers in both difficult and prosperous times is unparalleled in the market.
In addition to their fresh approach to marketing communications, the mindmerge team members strongly believe in the importance of long-term commitments with clients based on the sustaining values of trust and respect; the relentless pursuit of quality service and innovation; and interactive communication and collaboration.
According to Terry Zelen, "By merging our knowledge and experience, we have created a powerful, synergistic team that knows no bounds when it comes to developing remarkably robust marketing communications efforts and putting those messages in front of the people who can move market segments, even in this economic downturn."
