Real Food Works Welcomes Executive Staff

Real Food Works Inc. (http://www.realfoodworks.com), which provides a subscription-based service of ready-to-eat meals prepared by local restaurants and delivered fresh to consumers, announces the addition of Mary Beth Colucci as vice president of Marketing. Colucci was previously head of Acquisition Marketing at FreshDirect (http://www.freshdirect.com), a leading online retailer of fresh foods and grocery items. At Real Food Works, Colucci will focus on customer acquisition, retention, and stewardship of the Real Food Works brand. She will be working out of the company's New York City headquarters.

In addition to FreshDirect, Colucci held leadership roles at Hooked on Phonics and Columbia House and new business development positions at the Disney Movie Club and 1-800-Flowers.com. She also consulted at early-stage startups including I-Behavior, Mail.com, and BigStar, and founded Homeline.com.

  •     Mike Krupit, chief operating officer
Krupit was co-founder and managing director of Novotorium, an emerging business incubator; chief innovation officer of Voice Systems Engineering; CEO of Knite; and CEO, CIO and COO of CDNOW.
  •     David Friedman, head of Technology
Friedman founded Inhabi, a matchmaking service for renters and landlords. He was director of Engineering for Venmo; vice president of Operations and vice president of Sales for Coldwell Banker Preferred; and founded of Philly Living.
  •     David Navarro, Philadelphia Operations manager
A graduate of the Johnson & Wales culinary arts program, Navarro has worked in kitchens in Philadelphia and Miami. He is a member of the American Culinary Federation and the Federation of Dining Room Professionals.
