Rapid Insight Fuses Predictive Analytics, Big Data, and User Collaboration in Latest Release
Date:8/22/2013

Conway, NH (PRWEB) August 22, 2013

Rapid Insight, the leading provider of predictive analytics and data intelligence software, today announced a significant software update. In addition to several new features enabling collaboration for predictive modeling and reporting, integration with Hadoop, Tableau and R has been made seamless in the new version.

Rapid Insight now provides the ability to read and write data to and from Hadoop, and to incorporate Big Data into predictive models with the utilization of Hive. Also given the importance of visualizing, sharing and communicating results of predictive models, the Rapid Insight product suite can now write to Tableau and Tableau Online with a single click.

"The volume and variety of data that is available to organizations is becoming larger and larger. There is an increasing demand for incorporating predictive analytics into everyday business decisions, which means more users need to access and understand the results. We’ve always been committed to being data agnostic and making the life of the data scientist easier by eliminating any data barriers. With our latest release, we’ve taken a giant leap toward making the value of predictive analytics available to anyone within the company,” noted Mike Laracy, Founder and CEO of Rapid Insight.

Rapid Insight Enterprise and Runner software versions have been created to address the need for more people across an organization needing to share predictive modeling projects, data and report output. The Enterprise version allows the sharing of predictive modeling jobs and eases the burden on IT staff with a simpler software delivery model. Runner gives the analyst and decision makers at an organization the ability to run analytic processes without the need for a full developer license of the Rapid Insight product suite.

The market has been demanding tools that allow people to easily turn data into information
