Raising the Quality of Long-Term Care for Seniors
Date:1/19/2009

PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Anyone who has gone through finding a long-term care facility for their loved one knows how difficult is to search for and find a care facility such as a nursing home or assisted living. They would know how senior living can be expensive and stressful, trying to find a place that provides the safety, resources and meets the financial demands of senior citizens without knowing prudent information, consumer rating/family survey, performance background and complaint history. We, the baby boomers, do not have enough time to go to all the governmental offices and research the information needed in person. We have been trained to demand instant information.

Adult-Care.Org launched its national search engine on the first of January, 2008. Adult-Care.Org has since broadened its presence as a household name in (21) states; providing quality and prudent information needed for consumers in need of making a senior long-term care decision in all types of care facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living, adult family care, residential care, memory care/Alzheimer, independent living and in-home care. Adult-Care.Org is an important community resource center that supplies valuable information on senior long-term care facilities such as complaint and performance history, consumer rating, family survey, including virtual tours, saving time, expense and effort in locating a long-term care facility. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szbuD-hnhm4

"http://www.adult-care.org is a great resource for seniors to find and check the background of a long-term care facility in addition to providing solutions to care providers through consumer voice," said Vera Porter, president of Oregon Alliance for Retired America.
