RBMA Bulletin Buyers Guide Focuses on Technology and Radiology Business Vendors
Date:8/7/2014

Fairfax, VA (PRWEB) August 07, 2014

The Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) is proud to announce the recent release of the RBMA Bulletin Technology and Buyers Guide issue. In its 49th year of publication, the RBMA Bulletin has been delivering a Buyers Guide issue since 2007.

Over the past decade the technological advances in the industry have greatly impacted practice management operations and enforced practices to constantly remain in step with the latest developments. In his article in the RBMA Bulletin entitled Technology Can Improve Your Practice, Randy Johnston explains how properly implemented technology can help deliver better client service with less effort.

Business intelligence has become increasingly vital to the survival of a radiology practice in a leaner, more competitive healthcare market, Cat Vasko shares how to derive analytics from billing data and then utilize it to improve operations in her article, Leveraging Billing Data to Find Opportunities for Improvement.

With the continual barrage of technological improvements in healthcare delivery and business process operations it is foreseeable that practices encounter glitches. In her article, The Pitfalls of Technology and Automation, Ann Reynolds uncovers what effect raising the bar can have and how to plan for the inevitable snags.

When implementing new technology it is important to communicate and prepare all staff members for the upcoming change. Pat Kroken delves into the human side of adopting technology in her article, Change Management Challenges: The Scary Side of Something New.

The Buyers Guide section of the RBMA Bulletin includes a listing of industry vendors by product category. All companies listed are corporate members of RBMA.

The issue also includes the standard departments: Data, Human Resources, Legal, Marketing, Meaningful Use, and Regulatory/Legislative.

“The RBMA Bulletin is one of the highest rated benefits of RBMA membership,” says RBMA Bulletin editorial advisor, Patricia Kroken, FACMPE, CRA, FRBMA. “The quality of the articles along with the targeted content makes the Bulletin a valuable resource that is often passed around the office. The Buyers Guide issue is one issue that remains on the shelf year round.”

In addition to the printed version The RBMA Bulletin is available digitally at http://www.rbma.org. It is published six times a year and is distributed to every RBMA member.

The Radiology Business Management Association is a national not-for-profit association providing members with applied business information and intelligence applicable in any radiology setting. The RBMA has approximately 2,300 members involved in various management capacities in private practices, academic radiology groups, imaging centers and hospitals. The RBMA continues to be recognized as the leader for radiology-specific educational programs, products and services, publications and data.
