RADinfo SYSTEMS accomplishes a web-based PACS installation to meet the special workflow at urgent care centers and ambulatory practices

DULLES, Va., April 14 /PRNewswire/ -- RADinfo SYSTEMS has successfully completed the urgent care Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) installation at a large group of primary care clinics in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area. The primary care clinics offer family care, urgent care, physical therapy, occupational medicine, travel medicine, and provide x-ray services at all of their 22 urgent care focused sites.

Prior to implementing CR and PACS technology, each of the practice's clinics transported all of their radiographic images to off-site radiologists for final interpretations on a daily basis, which was time consuming, labor intensive, and very expensive.
