Working with the physician recruitment firm's owner-management team, Jackson will oversee a five-year plan to enhance leadership development and technological efficiency at all levels of the organization.

The son of a pioneer in physician search, the new LocumTenens.com president began working in the physician recruiting industry during his high school years. After earning a bachelors degree in business administration from Harding University, the younger Jackson has launched several successful businesses. In 2000 he joined the Jackson Healthcare family, co-founding and acting as president of NextStart Capital to provide financial advisory and merger/acquisition services.

From 2003 until mid-2006 Jackson also served as president of Patient Placement Systems, a healthcare technology company focused on automating the patient referral process. Since 2006, Jackson has been the Executive Vice President of Jackson Healthcare, overseeing several of JH's portfolio companies and operations.
