Date:12/10/2012

Bohemia, NY (PRWEB) December 10, 2012

On December 10, 2012, Quorn Foods Inc. releases a statement following an Examiner article by Rachael Monaco, which discusses the best free vegetarian smartphone apps for the food lovers diet.

According to the Examiner article, “Free vegan apps for your Smartphone can be found, and the Food Network and Geeky Stuffs websites reported on Saturday, Dec. 1 which are the best free vegan and vegetarian apps for the Smartphone.” The article states that The Vegan Yum Yum free app was created by vegetarian cookbook writer Lolo, and offers access to her cookbook recipes as well as aids you in your grocery shopping.

The article states that another app by Whole Foods grocery store gives users access to all Whole Foods Products, and lets users narrow down searches to vegetarian or vegan food and recipes.

According to the article another vegetarian friendly app, Epicurious, “allows you to access over 1000 vegan recipes compiled by vegan diet author Colleen Patrick-Goudreau.” The article states that all of these smartphone apps are free and user friendly, with easy-to-read displays, and helpful functions.

Quorn Foods Inc. applauded the variety of smartphone applications for vegetarian users and their food lovers diet. “In the new age of smartphones and technology, it is nice to see that smartphone apps are now becoming catered toward the vegetarian community,” says Quorn representative David Wilson. “These apps could potentially make it easier for vegetarians to find the foods they want and provide them with a variety of tasty vegetarian recipes.”
