QuickMedical Receives Veteran Owned Small Business Verification
Date:5/9/2013

Issaquah, WA (PRWEB) May 09, 2013

QuickMedical is now one of only 176 firms nationwide who have a Schedule 65 Medical VA GSA contract and is verified to participate in Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) set asides.

QuickMedical has been verified as a VOSB by the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE).

Tom Smith, Director of Government Affairs, who led the effort for QuickMedical GS said, "Our goal as a supplier to the VA and other Federal Government Agencies is to be one of the most responsive contractors for our government customers."

Following the recent integration of Veterans Sales and QuickMedical, efforts were made by QuickMedical's GS division to obtain VOSB verification.

Smith further stated, "We currently have over 8,154 active federal customers in 50 states. Our professional sales staff has a goal of responding to any government request in less than 24 hours.”

By law, the federal government must give special consideration to small businesses when awarding specific government contracts.

“We have over 12,000 items on our FSS/GSA contracts, which provide our customers a broad selection of items in over 67 unique categories from over 75 manufacturers,” added Smith.

GSA establishes long-term government-wide contracts with commercial firms to provide access to millions of commercial products and services at volume discount pricing.

“We call ourselves the Veteran Owned Small Business that tries harder. Our federal government customers agree."
