HomePure incorporates a mechanical seven-filter media Ultrafiltration (UF) system, meaning seven filter stages are combined into one single filter cartridge. The innovative seven-stage filtration system includes a sediment pre-filter that effectively filters suspended solids such as rust residues, mud, and sand larger than 5 µm (5/1000 mm); an ultrafiltration hollow fibre membrane, which ensures elimination of bacteria due to having a pore size ranging from 0.01 to 0.1 micron; and an antibacterial Silver-lite stone, which prevents the recontamination of water.
Performance tests on the pollutant removal rate of the water filtration system were conducted by TÜV SÜD PSB, Singapore (Test report: 719165835-CHM10-EKH); KEWWI Korea Environment & Water Works Institute, Korea; and Consolidated Laboratory (M) Sdn Bhd, Malaysia and “one sample of water filter branded: HomePure has been tested by SIRIM QAS International Sdn. Bhd. Sample of water after filtration was collected and has been tested for certain elements in the Twenty-Fifth Schedule of Food Regulations 1985.
