Date:12/20/2009

Data Advantage, LLC recently named two QHR management clients to its “Top 100 Hospitals: Best in Value Hospitals” list. Fort Madison Community Hospital (Fort Madison, Iowa), a QHR management client since 1982, and Monroe County Hospital (Monroeville, Ala.), a QHR management client since 1979, were lauded by the company, which specializes in providing hospitals and other healthcare-related businesses with independent and objective business intelligence.

Brentwood, TN (PRWEB) December 20, 2009 -- Data Advantage, LLC recently named two QHR management clients to its “Top 100 Hospitals: Best in Value Hospitals” list.

“These are the hospitals that set the bar for the nation when it comes to value. If every hospital performed at the level of the Top 100, we found that more than $60 billion per year could be saved,” said Hal Andrews, CEO of Data Advantage. “The Hospital Value Index winners … have a proven ability to deliver high value care to their communities and represent a model of care that other U.S. hospitals should look to.”

“This is deserved recognition for CEOs James Platt and Vincent Defranco, and their teams at Fort Madison Community and Monroe County hospitals,” said QHR President and CEO James L. Horrar. “The success they’re achieving clinically, financially and operationally is commendable. I’m pleased and proud to call them a part of the QHR family.”
