QED International Associates Announces Changes to the HealthShares(TM) Composite, and the HealthShares(TM) Diagnostics Indexes

NEW YORK, Nov. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- QED International Associates Inc., administrator for the HealthShares(TM) Exchange-Traded Funds, a series of 20 underlying fund portfolios, today announced that effective at the opening of trading on Thursday November 8, 2007 Given Imaging, Ltd. (Nasdaq: GIVN) will replace Dade Behring Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: DADE), in the HealthShares(TM) Diagnostics Index, and Inverness Medical Innovations (Amex: IMA) will replace DADE in the HealthShares(TM) Composite Index. Dade Behring is being acquired by Siemens, Inc.

Companies included in the HealthShares(TM) Diagnostics Index engage in identification of the existence and extent of a disease, the visual localization of a disease by way of imaging, the selection of therapeutic agents appropriate for the disease wherever possible and the monitoring of disease progression/therapeutic efficacy.
