Public Invited to Learn to 'Work Safe, Live Well' During Safety Day n June 11

HARRISBURG, Pa., June 9 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Department of Labor & Industry invites the public to learn more about working safely and living well during the 10th annual Health & Safety Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, in the Capitol's East Wing Rotunda in Harrisburg.

The event will feature an array of interactive services promoting health and safety in the workplace and home. Visitors to the event can receive - free of charge - relaxing massages; a cool snack from Rita's Water Ice; posture, vision and hearing screenings; information on emergency preparedness; tips on avoiding identity theft and much more from a dozen exhibitors.

June is National Safety Month, and with the support of other state agencies and private exhibitors, the Department of Labor & Industry's Health & Safety Day exhibition has provided thousands of Pennsylvanians with valuable information on staying safe year-round.
