Providing Comfort for Holiday Guests Just Got Easier
Date:11/25/2009

will enjoy the benefits of our gift.”

Plushbeds Operations Manager, Michael Gordon notes, “It’s great that customers are realizing the importance of quality sleep during the holidays, which can at times be stressful. We’ve seen a huge increase in sleeper sofa mattress sales, mostly to families who want to get them in before the holiday rush.”

“The problem with poor-quality sleep is that it can lower the body’s immune response,” Gordon continues. “That’s something that is of particular concern during this year’s cold and flu season. Travelers who may have spent a day breathing recycled airplane air certainly don’t need the extra stress of sleepless nights when they arrive at their destinations.”

“The problem with traditional sofa mattresses”, Gordon explains, “is that the mattress is primarily designed to fold into the sofa; comfort is usually a secondary thought. By contrast, memory foam is made from pressure-relieving material. It is designed to compress and will always return back to its original shape. Because there are no coils or springs, it is impossible for a memory foam sofa mattress to get “lumpy.””

“We hope our Black Friday special offer will enable even more people to upgrade their uncomfortable sofa beds into “Slices of Heaven” that their guests will find rejuvenating and refreshing - taking the ‘ouch’ out of sleepless nights and making holiday visits even more joyful. Whether people purchase our replacement sofa mattresses for their own sofa beds, or for relatives they’ll be visiting, it’s a win-win for all.”
