Customers can make an appointment by calling or by using the online schedule. New patients are encouraged to first take the online hearing test, and then make an appointment with the staff for an audiological screening. Progressive Audiology Center, Inc. strives to provide quality hearing information and technology to their customers. The company is known for giving its patients the most up-to-date information on hearing advancements, audiological treatments, and hearing aid innovations.

The in-office hearing test is comprised of many parts. First, the Audiologist will conduct a pure tone hearing test. This is conducted in a quiet environment, sometimes in a soundproof booth. The Audiologist will place headphones that are connected to an audiometer over the patient’s ears. The audiometer transmits a series of tones at a variety of volumes into the ears to determine the exact point or "threshold" at which the patient can hear various frequencies of sounds. Next is speech testing, when the patient will listen to a series of one and two syllable words at different volumes and be asked to repeat them.
