Prominent Austin Facial Plastic Surgeon Receives 2012 Patient’s Choice Award

Renowned facial plastic surgeon Dr. Edward Buckingham of Austin, Texas, is proud to receive the Patient’s Choice Award for the third year in a row.
The Patient’s Choice Award is a notable award bestowed each year on exceptional physicians and dentists from across the country who receive near-perfect scores as voted by their patients. In selecting the top physicians and dentists, PatientsChoice.org considers online feedback provided by more than 200,000 patients each month regarding their experience with their physician or dentist, including their opinions about the doctor’s bedside manner, doctor-patient communication, follow-up care, and office staff. While most doctors receive positive reviews, only a select few receive consistently rave reviews and these are the physicians and dentists awarded the Patient’s Choice Award.
Dr. Buckingham is proud to be among the select few who received the Patient’s Choice Award. In 2012, only 5% of the nation’s 830,000 active doctor received this honor. This is Dr. Buckingham’s third year in a row as he has received the award for 2010, 2011 and now 2012.

Dr. Buckingham is double board certified in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and otolaryngology – head and neck surgery. He has extensive experience in both cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery procedures, with a particular interest in using the most advanced endoscopic, minimally-invasive techniques to minimize scarring and downtime. Dr. Buckingham received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He is committed to
